I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. I provide individual and family psychotherapy as well as psychological assessment testing. If you are considering therapy or assessment, I welcome you to schedule a 15-minute consultation call to discuss whether my services are a good fit for you or your child.
Whether you are looking to ease a specific difficulty or grow your emotional and relational skills, my work is grounded in the belief that meaningful, lasting change is possible. Together, we can identify and shift unhelpful patterns of experience and behavior, strengthen emotional awareness, and help you build relationships that feel more supportive and fulfilling.
My approach is warm, direct, and thoughtful. I will focus on helping you build on existing strengths, gain genuine insight, and develop practical skills to manage difficult situations or resolve emotional and relational difficulties.
When working with children, adolescents, and families, I focus on supporting emotional regulation, strengthening attachment and family communication, and helping caregivers understand and support their children in ways that lead to healthier behaviors. With each client and family, I adapt my approach to fit the specific developmental stage and needs of the child or teen.
As a professor at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, I teach graduate level courses in clinical and developmental psychology, psychological assessment, psychotherapy theories, child and adolescent therapy, and common therapeutic factors. I enjoy working with trainees, and have provided clinical supervision at the Wright Institute Clinics and the Access Institute in San Francisco.
I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the Wright Institute. I earned my BA and MA degrees in literature from Stanford University, and post-baccalaureate in psychology from Columbia University. My training includes doctoral internship at West Coast Children’s Clinic in Oakland, and postdoctoral fellowship at the Wright Institute Assessment Service.
